💰 Is Cardpecker free to use?
Yes, Cardpecker is completely free to use! We believe in making TCG tools accessible to everyone. While we may introduce premium features in the future, the core functionality will always remain free.
🏪 What about store owners?
We're developing special features for store owners! The store-owner version will include:
- Direct integration with your Cardmarket store
- Real-time inventory updates
- Price tracking and market analysis
- Automated customer support features
- Custom commands for your store's specific needs

🔒 Privacy & Data Protection
When you add the bot to a WhatsApp group, it technically receives all messages - just like any other group member. However, this is where the similarities end.
Important: The bot is not a human - it only responds to specific commands (like [[CardName]]) and doesn't store any content permanently. It doesn't "read along" - it only functions when explicitly addressed.
Data protection is our highest priority:
- The bot runs completely locally on our own hardware (a Raspberry Pi), not in the cloud
- No access to contacts, media, or private data outside the group
- We don't see any chat history - unless we actively log it, which we explicitly don't do
- This is a hobby project in its early stages (alpha version)
- If the bot's behavior or functionality ever changes, it will either leave the group or actively notify you
Note: WhatsApp itself technically also reads along - all messages go through their servers, and metadata is stored.

Absolutely! We welcome community participation. You can:

➕ How do I add the bot?
The bot needs to be added to a group or community as a contact (just like any other user). If you are not the admin of the group or community, please send an invitation to the bot.
Important: Currently, the bot can only be added directly to a group by admins.
If you want to add the bot to your community but are unable to, feel free to contact us via the Contact page. We will then add it manually for you.
