Cardpecker runs on secure cloud infrastructure with 24/7 availability. When you type a command like [[CardName]], the bot:

Detects the command pattern in your message
Searches the Scryfall API for card data
Fetches current prices from Cardmarket
Sends back a formatted response with image and information

The bot uses advanced caching to ensure fast responses and minimize API calls.

The bot only processes messages containing commands (like [[CardName]])
No chat history or personal data is stored
No access to contacts, media, or data outside the group

Anonymous search statistics only (which cards are searched, not who searches them)
No user tracking or profiling

Important: Like any WhatsApp group member, the bot technically receives all messages, but it only responds to specific commands and doesn't store or process other content.

What We Track (Anonymously):

What We DON'T Track: Who searches, user identities, group names, chat content, or any personal information.
